ABOUT
Jim Di Bartolo is a book, comic book, editorial, and freelance mixed media artist who has also written and co-written graphic novels. He co-created IN THE SHADOWS, a star-reviewed hybrid novel from Scholastic with #1 New York Times bestselling author Kiersten White in which he contributed over a hundred pages of painted art, and has collaborated on several novels and graphic novels with his wife, the international and New York Times bestselling and Printz Honor winning author Laini Taylor, including their National Book Award finalist LIPS TOUCH: Three Times. He has done cover art for Little, Brown Books, Scholastic, GRAPHIX, Dark Horse Comics, IMAGE Comics, Abrams Books, Simon and Schuster, Penguin Random House, Arthur A. Levine Books, Hodder & Stoughton/Hachette UK, White Wolf Publishing, and others. Additionally, he has done interior and/or sequential art for all of the above as well as trading cards for Upper Deck/Marvel, and, when time allows, paintings for private commissions. He wrote and spot-illustrated a contribution to the anthology LAST NIGHT A SUPERHERO SAVED MY LIFE alongside Leigh Bardugo, Brad Meltzer, Neil Gaiman, Christopher Golden, Jodi Picoult, Joe R. Lansdale, and others for St. Martin's Press. He is represented by Jane Putch, President of Eyebait Management in Los Angeles, CA. Jim lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife and their daughter.
